Eligibility Details & Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill the following educational and statutory criteria to be eligible for the Haryana Police Constable posts:

1. Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India. Additionally, Hindi or Sanskrit must have been a subject at the Matric (10th) level.

2. CET Qualification: Only those candidates who have successfully qualified for the HSSC Group C Common Eligibility Test (CET) are eligible to fill out this recruitment form.

3. Domicile Requirements: While candidates from other states can apply under the General category, reservation benefits (Age and Category) are strictly limited to candidates possessing a valid Haryana Domicile certificate.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
HSSC Constable Exam Pattern
  • Knowledge Test (CBT/OMR): The written examination will carry 94.5% of the total weightage in the selection process.
  • Questions & Timing: There will be 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 105 minutes.
  • No Negative Marking: There is no negative marking, but candidates must attempt all questions; unattempted questions may lead to mark deductions if not handled as per HSSC OMR rules.
  • Language: The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
  • Socio-Economic Criteria: Additional marks (5.5% weightage) are provided based on socio-economic criteria and NCC certification.

  2. Physical Screening Test (PST): Candidates must clear the running standards (2.5 KM for Males / 1 KM for Females).
  3. Knowledge Test: The core written examination evaluating general and technical knowledge.
  4. Document Verification: Review of CET scorecards, 10+2 certificates, and reservation documents.
  5. Final Result: Preparation of the final merit list combining written scores and socio-economic weightage.

Salary & Pay Scale Details
HSSC Haryana Police Constables are appointed in a structured pay scale with various state government benefits.

1. Basic Pay Scale: The initial pay scale is #21,700 – #69,100 (Pay Level-3, Cell-1).

2. Monthly In-hand Salary: The total gross salary includes basic pay plus Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Medical Allowances, totaling approximately #32,000 – #37,000 per month initially.
